🤔 sounds like you have figured out how to escape reality. How to climb up in to the MINDshaft and create things that are not 💯% true in the real world . And then tell other ppl these things u how have figured out are things they should be alined with.

💥🗣️🗣️🗣️😆 Yes I have a Tapeworm in my brain also . 😜

I was always told I was “over sensitive” when I was growing up. However, being able to tune into other people’s emotions and moods was a huge advantage when I was working as a mental health nurse. I also like that I don’t think logically. I always say that my friend thinks in straight lines whereas I think like there are several brightly coloured strands in my head that weave and twist and take me places others might not get to. Ask me to balance my bank account and I have nothing. Sit me down with a troubled person or ask me to write an essay on psychosocial issues and I’m your gal. Thank you, Maggie x

I feel seen! I relate to the feeling when you’re with a client. Both being WITH them all the way and being able to see the different strands and constellations. I often forget that not everyone has this …. dare I say superpower?! I also love that it’s the perfect balance of structure + free “play”.

Thanks for highlighting the fun positive parts this way!

You're welcome ❤️ And nope, not everyone has that. I often watch movies or shows (well, the ones I'm really into) and predict the ending from the first 10 minutes in. I'm guessing it's similar for you too!

As a cranky old grouch, I love hearing positive spins on things - this is so enlightening.

Oh please do enlighten me a tiny bit more though - I'm neither a Dutchie nor a Belgian, so...holiday shenanigoose? Is this something to do with having a bit of fun with geese during Christmas dinner?

Shenani-gans, gans is the Dutch word for goose and it cracks me up when I see this word written 🤭

Beautiful, I’ll try to start using it, waiting for puzzled looks on people’s faces.

Relating to all of this except for the part about being able to do a lot and have energy for that. My autism cancels that bit out unfortunately! Great post.

Adding to that... it's all about having the right work, I feel. As a writer many of my ADHD traits are huge assets - clearly that's the case for you as a coach.

Thank you so much, Morgana ❤️ And absolutely, it is. I've been in many wrong jobs before, this one (and writing, like you!) works for my brain.

Wow wow wow! I feel so heard and seen! I ping multiple ideas at one time and light up when I have to use my analytical skills and create innovative ways to find solutions. I could go on and on but i definitely view my ADHD as a superpower and NOT a hindrance now 🥲🥹🤧🩵
