Adhd and perfectionism sounds like a match made in hell but makes perfect sense to me. I don't know how I'd connect it but I'd like to see what you've got.
Makes sense to me....just need to get off my ass and do something. Perfectionism interests me also as I used to struggle when I was younger. Now I don't even have the energy to strive for perfection.
I don't feel I have ADHD, but I'm definitely more easily distracted than I ever was. Depression was a constant companion and comes back for a visit occasionally.
What struck me most was the distance between the inner reality and the outward performance. Sometimes the greatest exhaustion is not simply carrying what we feel, but continuing to appear untouched by it. Thank you for writing about that hidden distance with such honesty.
As someone that struggles with ADHD, anxiety and depression, this seems pretty accurate to me. Thank you for sharing.
You're very welcome! I do like this theory, especially how it links ADHD to anxiety.

It is and it isn't... I'll write about it next week 😊

You're the second person to vote for perfectionism so it shall be written! Sorry to hear you don't have the energy any more, are you ok?
I'm always ok. Thanks tho!
In that case, I'll send you some energy 🙏
Thank you. I can use all I can get 😘

I can relate, and I'm sorry to hear you still struggle with it sometimes. Depression does make it harder to concentrate too.

Thank you for your lovely comment. And yep, I think that is actually the scariest part.
Perfectionism YES!
Will do 😊
